Information we collect
- Information you provide: your email address and the details you enter to create a song — your pet's name, species, breed, relationship, memories, personality, and style preferences.
- Payment information: when you buy, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation and limited billing details, but we never see or store your full card number.
- Automatic information: basic technical data such as device/browser type and general usage, collected to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
- To generate your song and deliver your preview and full track.
- To email you your song, receipts, and important service messages.
- To provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
- With your consent, to send occasional marketing you can opt out of at any time.
Service providers we share with
We share only what's needed with trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (audio/image hosting), SendGrid (email delivery), our music-generation and language-model providers (to create your song and lyrics), and Vercel (website hosting). We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your song and order details so you can access your purchase and so we can provide support. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time by emailing support@bestieballad.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to opt out of marketing. To exercise any of these, email us and we'll respond promptly.
Children
Bestie Ballad is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll post the new effective date here and, for material changes, notify you where appropriate.
